Easy Breakfast Idea
Ingredients
- Pillsbury Southern style biscuits (they're vegan :))
- >4 Bella mushrooms quartered
- >1/4 sweet onion minced
- >2 tbsp vegan butter >1 tbsp flour >About 3/4 cup of UNSWEETENED plant milk >1/2 bay leaf
- >1 tsp fried sage >1 tsp thyme >Salt & Pepper >Few drops of Cholula Hot Sauce >Parlsey for fresh garnish
Preparation
Bake the biscuits on a nonstick tray at 350 for about 15-18 min
Be sure to rotate them when they start to turn brown
Sweat the onion in 1 tbsp butter >add the mushrooms until nice n browned >add seasonings and cook up for a few mins >add the flour and rest of butter and cook for a few mins
Slowly add the milk bit by bit until it's nice n thick
Turn up the heat to a simmer and then lower the heat to low so it'll cook nice n slow
Don't forget to take the bayleaf out before u eat
U don't wanna eat it! ?
After that its all how u plate it
I put sauce first
Biscuit n then carefully drop the hot sauce
But you can do as you please ?
