Easy Gluten-Free Single-Serve Cinnamon Roll
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup gluten-free bread flour
- 1/2 tablespoon granulated sugar
- Pinch of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
Filling
- 1 1/2 tablespoons softened butter
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Icing
- Powdered sugar
- Water
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 350F and grease a small baking dish.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the bread flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, and baking soda, then add the milk and melted butter. The dough should look slightly wet.
Place the dough onto a lightly floured piece of parchment paper and roll it out into a rectangle.
Spread the filling mixture on, covering most of the dough, then cut into 4 slices.
Roll one slice up, connect the end to the next, and continue rolling until all 4 slices form one large cinnamon roll.
Place it in the small baking dish and bake for 30 minutes. Let it cool slightly before adding the icing made by mixing powdered sugar and water. Enjoy!
