Hot Cross Bun French Toast
Ingredients
- 1 Hot Cross Bun, halved
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tbsp cinnamon sugar
- Splash of milk
- Knob of Butter
Preparation
In a shallow bowl, whisk egg, cinnamon sugar, and a splash of milk until combined.
Dip the hot cross bun in the mixture, coating all over.
Heat a frying pan on medium heat, add a knob of butter. Once melted, place the hot cross buns in the frying pan, frying on each side until golden. Serve on a plate, finish with toppings like yogurt, fresh fruit, and syrup.
