Hot Cross Bun French Toast

Ingredients

  • 1 Hot Cross Bun, halved
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tbsp cinnamon sugar
  • Splash of milk
  • Knob of Butter

Preparation

  1. In a shallow bowl, whisk egg, cinnamon sugar, and a splash of milk until combined.

  2. Dip the hot cross bun in the mixture, coating all over.

  3. Heat a frying pan on medium heat, add a knob of butter. Once melted, place the hot cross buns in the frying pan, frying on each side until golden. Serve on a plate, finish with toppings like yogurt, fresh fruit, and syrup.
