Oats and Mixed Dal Dosa
Ingredients
- 1 cup mixed dal (yellow moong dal, whole moong, masoor dal, chana dal)
- 1/2 cup urad dal
- 1.5 cups oats
- ginger
- chilies
- fenugreek seeds (methi dana)
- salt
- cumin seeds
- coriander leaves
Preparation
Soak the mixed dal and urad dal for 2-3 hours, and soak the oats for 15 minutes
Blend the soaked dal and oats together with ginger, chilies, and pre-soaked fenugreek seeds to make a batter
Add salt, cumin seeds, and coriander leaves to the batter and mix well
Heat a griddle or pan on medium flame and cook the dosa batter into dosas
Notes
This dosa is full of protein and fiber, and no fermentation is required
