Oats and Mixed Dal Dosa

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mixed dal (yellow moong dal, whole moong, masoor dal, chana dal)
  • 1/2 cup urad dal
  • 1.5 cups oats
  • ginger
  • chilies
  • fenugreek seeds (methi dana)
  • salt
  • cumin seeds
  • coriander leaves

Preparation

  1. Soak the mixed dal and urad dal for 2-3 hours, and soak the oats for 15 minutes

  2. Blend the soaked dal and oats together with ginger, chilies, and pre-soaked fenugreek seeds to make a batter

  3. Add salt, cumin seeds, and coriander leaves to the batter and mix well

  4. Heat a griddle or pan on medium flame and cook the dosa batter into dosas

Notes

  1. This dosa is full of protein and fiber, and no fermentation is required
