Sourdough Avocado Toast with Sweet Heat Sauce
Ingredients
- sourdough bread
- avocado
- spinach
- mushrooms
Sweet heat sauce
- water
- sugar
- white vinegar
- mustard seed
- minced red pepper
- paprika
- turmeric
Preparation
Toast the sourdough bread until golden.
Mash the avocado in a bowl.
Sauté the spinach and mushrooms in a pan until softened.
Mix the sweet heat sauce ingredients together in a small bowl or heat gently if desired.
Assemble by spreading mashed avocado on the toast, adding the sautéed vegetables, and drizzling with the sauce.
