Vegan Baked Blueberry Donuts

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup melted vegan butter
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 cup sugar (any kind)
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries

Glaze

  • 1/2 cup confectioners sugar
  • 1 – 1 1/2 tbsp almond milk

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. Mix melted vegan butter, almond milk, baking soda, baking powder, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon until combined.

  3. Add flour and mix until batter is smooth.

  4. Fold in blueberries and pour batter into a silicon donut tray.

  5. Bake for about 20 minutes; the donuts will look light on top but be browned on the bottom when flipped.

  6. Allow the donuts to cool.

  7. Prepare the glaze by mixing the glaze ingredients until smooth

  8. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled donuts.
