Banana Ginger Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 a banana, sliced
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ginger powder
  • 1 tsp sweetener of choice (i used sugar)
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 cup unsweetened soy milk
  • 2 tbsp chopped pecans (optional)

Preparation

  1. Add all ingredients to a sauce pan and bring to a simmer

  2. Make sure to stir continuously until oats have thickened

  3. Serve with additional fruit and toppings (I did strawberry, mango, banana slices from the other half of the banana, cashew butter, hemp hearts, and pepitas)
