Vegan Breakfast Bowl

Ingredients

  • Vegan chorizo sausage
  • Bread
  • Mixed vegetables
  • Avocado

Fried mushrooms

  • Mushrooms
  • Oil
  • Salt
  • Black pepper

Tofu salad

  • 200g tofu
  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp black salt
  • A sprinkle of black pepper
  • A sprinkle of turmeric (optional)

Preparation

  1. Assemble the breakfast bowl by combining all prepared components in a bowl.

Fried mushrooms

  1. Fry mushrooms in oil with salt and pepper until golden and tender.

Tofu salad

  1. Crumble the tofu into small pieces in a bowl using a fork.

  2. Add nutritional yeast, mayonnaise, black salt, black pepper, and optional turmeric.

  3. Stir until all ingredients are well combined.

Tips

  1. Use black salt (kala namak) for an authentic eggy flavor in the tofu salad.
