Easy Made Frozen Delight
Ingredients
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 3/4 cup walnuts
- 4 medjool dates, pitted
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- peanuts
Preparation
Blend oats in blender for 45 seconds or until you create oat flour. Make sure you use blender for a finer product
Add walnut to food processor and process until they achieve a crumbled product. Then add dates and process for another 45 seconds
Add oat flour from your blender to the food processor and process along with walnuts, dates, and maple syrup. Process until a dough-like texture forms
Line baking tray with parchment paper and add half of your oat flour mixture as the bottom layer. Smooth out using the back of a spatula
Melt peanut butter and chocolate chips in a glass bowl. Place in microwave for 30 second increments while mixing along the way. Should take about 2 minutes to fully melt. Add this as your middle layer and save some to drizzle on top
Add second half of oat flour mixture. I don’t use spatula to flatten this layer out because it can mess up the middle layer by swishing it. Instead I like to form a crumbly later to give it texture like you see in the photo above
Drizzle the leftover peanut butter chocolate mixture on top and freeze for 1-2 hours or overnight. Let thaw for 15 minutes before cutting into squares and serving
