Perfectly Roasted Cabbage Wedges with Parmesan
Ingredients
- 1 small green cabbage
- extra virgin olive oil
- 3 tablespoons finely grated Parmesan cheese
- about 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- salt and pepper
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Remove the outer leaves of the cabbage and slice the bottom off.
Quarter the cabbage, yielding 4 wedges.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Lay out the cabbage wedges, brush all sides with olive oil and sprinkle with half of the Parmesan cheese.
Season with half of the garlic powder and salt, and pepper.
Roast the cabbage for 30 minutes, turning the wedges over halfway through.
Once done roasting, remove from the oven and immediately top the cabbage with remaining Parmesan cheese.
Serve.
