Spicy Vegetarian Pasta with Chik'n Tenders

Ingredients

  • Spirali pasta
  • Veggie chicken style stock
  • 4 extra light cheese triangles
  • 1 tablespoon tomato puree
  • Sweet smoked paprika
  • Chilli powder
  • Chilli flakes
  • Onion salt
  • Garlic powder
  • 20 grams grated mozzarella
  • 4 plant-based chicken tenders
  • BBQ sauce
  • Chilli and garlic sauce
  • Tender stem broccoli

Preparation

  1. Cook the spirali pasta in veggie chicken style stock

  2. Drain the pasta, leaving about half a mug's worth of the pasta water

  3. Add 4 extra light cheese triangles, 1 tablespoon tomato puree, sweet smoked paprika, chilli powder, chilli flakes, onion salt, and garlic powder

  4. At the last minute, add 20 grams grated mozzarella to make it thick and sticky

  5. Cook the plant-based chicken tenders according to package instructions

  6. Prepare tender stem broccoli by steaming or boiling until tender

  7. Serve the pasta with the tenders, broccoli, BBQ sauce, and chilli and garlic sauce
