Teryaki Tempeh Recipe

Ingredients

  • 170g tempeh
  • 3tbsp teryaki sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 100g tenderstem broccoli
  • 1 chilli
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 50g rice
  • 1 lime
  • 1 sprig of spring onion

Preparation

  1. Start to boil the rice (according to packet instructions)

  2. Marinade the tempeh in 1 tbsp of teryaki for 10 mins

  3. Prep the broccoli for steaming & steam for 4 mins then drizzle with sesame oil & chopped chilli & some salt

  4. In a frying pan fry the tempeh 3 mins each side & then pour in the rest of the teryaki sauce & let it reduce down

  5. Serve everything with a fresh sprinkling of spring onion, a squeeze of lime & some sesame seeds & enjoy
