Teryaki Tempeh Recipe
Ingredients
- 170g tempeh
- 3tbsp teryaki sauce
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- 100g tenderstem broccoli
- 1 chilli
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 50g rice
- 1 lime
- 1 sprig of spring onion
Preparation
Start to boil the rice (according to packet instructions)
Marinade the tempeh in 1 tbsp of teryaki for 10 mins
Prep the broccoli for steaming & steam for 4 mins then drizzle with sesame oil & chopped chilli & some salt
In a frying pan fry the tempeh 3 mins each side & then pour in the rest of the teryaki sauce & let it reduce down
Serve everything with a fresh sprinkling of spring onion, a squeeze of lime & some sesame seeds & enjoy
