Fudgy Vegan Brownies with Optional Biscuit Topping
Ingredients
- 100g dark chocolate
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 1 cup caster sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup plant milk
- 1/2 cup plain flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 and 1/2 tsp baking powder
Preparation
Add the chocolate and margarine to a pan, turn the heat to low/medium and stir the ingredients until they are melted.
Take the pan off the heat and then add the sugar, vanilla extract and milk. Stir in.
Add the remaining ingredients and whisk until combined.
Pour the mixture into a greased and lined baking tin.
(Optional) add some biscuits to the top of the mixture and press in until the sides of the biscuit are covered by the batter.
Place in the oven at 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes. If you don’t like a fudgy texture leave in the oven for a bit longer. Leave to cool and then chop into slices.
