Festive Gingerbread Hot Chocolate
Ingredients
- 2 cups milk (I used cashew)
- 70-100g dark chocolate, finely chopped (add according to tastebuds!)
- 1 tbsp cacao powder
- 2 tbsp @olivadouk Macadamia Oil
- 1 tbsp coconut sugar
- Squeeze blackstrap molasses to taste (optional - start with a small squeeze!)
- Large pinch salt
- Zest of one orange
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2-1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger (or more, to taste)
Preparation
Heat all ingredients in a pan until melted and warm.
Whisk or blend until smooth, thick and creamy.
Pour into mugs and serve warm with whipped cream and ginger biscuits, if desired.
