Easy Vegan Hot Chocolate
Ingredients
- 2 cups plant milk of choice
- 2 1/2 tablespoons cacao powder
- 1 tablespoon instant coffee (optional)
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup or agave nectar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Vegan marshmallows for topping
Preparation
Mix the plant milk, cacao powder, instant coffee if using, maple syrup, and vanilla extract in a pot.
Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly for a few minutes.
Pour into cups and top with vegan marshmallows.
Notes
Omit instant coffee if you do not like the coffee taste.
