Creamy Pumpkin Sage Hummus
Ingredients
- 1 can pumpkin puree
- 1 can garbanzo beans, drained
- 2 tablespoons aquafaba
- 1-2 tablespoons tahini (optional)
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 2 teaspoons agave or maple syrup
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried sage or rosemary
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- Pinch of cayenne
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Toppings
- pomegranate seeds
- pumpkin seeds
- extra virgin olive oil
- fresh sage
Preparation
Add all ingredients to a food processor and puree until smooth, or pulse just until combined for a chunkier hummus.
Transfer to a plate or bowl, drizzle with extra virgin olive oil, top with pomegranate and pumpkin seeds, and sprinkle with sage.
Tips
Serve with crackers, pretzels, or zucchini slices.
