Easy Vegan Chia Jam Breakfast Creation
Ingredients
- 500g frozen strawberries and blueberries
- 2 tablespoons fruit syrup
- juice of 1 lemon
- 3 tablespoons chia seeds
- optional additional 1 tablespoon chia seeds if needed
- oat yoghurt
- raspberries
- 60g granola
Preparation
Cook 500g frozen strawberries and blueberries in a pan with 2 tablespoons fruit syrup and the juice of 1 lemon until juicy.
Add 3 tablespoons chia seeds and cook longer to reduce the juices.
Leave the mixture to cool.
If the jam is too runny, add another tablespoon of chia seeds and let it absorb the juice for a while.
You can omit the syrup if the fruit is sweet enough.
For the breakfast jar, layer the chia jam with oat yoghurt, raspberries, and 60g granola in a jar.
