Easy Vegan Chocolate Mousse

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dairy free yogurt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (3.5 oz)
  • 1 tbsp coconut sugar (optional)

Preparation

  1. Measure out the chocolate chips and put them in a medium-sized microwave-safe bowl.

  2. Melt the chips in the microwave for 30 seconds, then remove, stir with a fork, and repeat until fully melted, being careful not to overheat.

  3. Pour the yogurt over the melted chocolate and stir until well incorporated; add sugar if desired.

  4. Pour the mixture into cups or bowls for serving and place in the refrigerator.

  5. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the chocolate to harden and achieve a thick, creamy texture.

Tips

  1. The amount of sugar needed depends on the sweetness of the yogurt and chocolate; taste and adjust accordingly.

  2. This recipe makes 2 large portions or 4 smaller portions.

  3. Top with coconut whipped cream, raspberries, pistachios, or other garnishes for added flavor.
