Easy Vegan Chocolate Mousse
Ingredients
- 1 cup dairy free yogurt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (3.5 oz)
- 1 tbsp coconut sugar (optional)
Preparation
Measure out the chocolate chips and put them in a medium-sized microwave-safe bowl.
Melt the chips in the microwave for 30 seconds, then remove, stir with a fork, and repeat until fully melted, being careful not to overheat.
Pour the yogurt over the melted chocolate and stir until well incorporated; add sugar if desired.
Pour the mixture into cups or bowls for serving and place in the refrigerator.
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the chocolate to harden and achieve a thick, creamy texture.
Tips
The amount of sugar needed depends on the sweetness of the yogurt and chocolate; taste and adjust accordingly.
This recipe makes 2 large portions or 4 smaller portions.
Top with coconut whipped cream, raspberries, pistachios, or other garnishes for added flavor.
