No-Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup agave syrup
  • 2 cups peanut butter
  • 3 cups oats
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Preparation

  1. Place the oats into the bowl of your food processor and grind them for a few seconds; they shouldn't be too finely ground.

  2. Add all ingredients except the chocolate chips to a large bowl and stir with a large spoon until blended.

  3. Transfer the mixture to an ungreased 8x8 dish lined with parchment paper, spread it well, press evenly with a spatula, and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes to set.

  4. Microwave the chocolate chips with a little water for about 2 minutes on high or until melted, then stir well to combine.

  5. Spread the chocolate mixture evenly over the peanut butter and oats mixture and refrigerate for at least one hour before slicing.

Storage

  1. Store covered in the refrigerator.
