No-Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup agave syrup
  • 2 cups peanut butter
  • 3 cups oats
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Preparation

  1. Grind the oats in a food processor for a few seconds until coarsely ground.

  2. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except the chocolate chips and stir until blended.

  3. Transfer the mixture to a parchment-lined 8x8 dish, spread and press evenly, and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes to set.

  4. Melt the chocolate chips with a little water in the microwave for about 2 minutes on high, stirring until smooth.

  5. Spread the melted chocolate evenly over the set mixture and refrigerate for at least one hour before slicing.

Storage

  1. Store covered in the refrigerator.
