Nutella Bomb Truffles

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Dates (soaked)
  • 1 cup Hazelnuts
  • 1/4 cup Cacao Powder/Chocolate Protein (@macr0mike)
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 1/4 cup Coconut Yoghurt
  • 1 tbs Cacao Powder
  • Melted Dark Chocolate (for topping, optional)
  • Chopped Hazelnuts (for topping, optional)

Preparation

  1. Add soaked dates, hazelnuts, cacao powder, and salt to a blender or food processor. Blend until a thick dough forms.

  2. In a small bowl, mix together coconut yogurt and cacao powder.

  3. Roll the dough into balls, adding chocolate cream to the center of each ball.

  4. Place the truffles in the fridge to cool.

  5. If desired, drizzle melted dark chocolate over the truffles and sprinkle chopped hazelnuts on top.

  6. Store the truffles in the fridge for 4-5 days. They can also be frozen and thawed before eating.
