Peanut Butter Fudge Shards
Ingredients
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 1 1/2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1/8 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil
Preparation
Line an 8x8 inch pan with parchment paper for thin shards, or use a loaf pan for thick bars.
In a small saucepan over medium to low heat, melt the peanut butter, coconut oil, maple syrup, and salt until smooth, then pour into the prepared tray.
In another small saucepan over medium to low heat, melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil by stirring until smooth.
Drizzle the chocolate over the peanut butter mixture and use a toothpick to create a marbled effect by dragging and swirling the chocolate.
Freeze for a few hours until set, then cut into any size pieces you like.
Store in the freezer; these will melt at room temperature and in the refrigerator. Eat straight from the freezer.
