Banana and Custard Baked Oats
Ingredients
- 50g oats
- 50g banana
- 2 tbsp custard
- 3 tbsp boiling water
- 1 tbsp syrup
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
Preparation
Preheat oven to 180C/350F/gas mark 4.
Add boiling water to oats in a bowl, stir to thicken, and leave for 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, mash the banana, add all ingredients to the bowl, and stir to combine.
Pour mixture into a shallow oven-proof dish lined with baking parchment and bake for 30 minutes.
Serve warm with a drizzle of maple syrup and extra custard if desired.
Tips
Triple the ingredients for meal prep and make a big batch, which can also be frozen.
