Tanghulu Candied Fruit Skewers

Ingredients

  • 10 Strawberries
  • 20 Grapes
  • 100g Water
  • 200g Granulated sugar

  • Wooden skewers

Preparation

  1. Put the washed and dried fruit onto skewers

  2. Add the sugar and water to a pan and heat over medium-high until the mixture reaches 150°C. If you don’t have a thermometer, drop a little of the syrup into a bowl of cold water; if it forms a hard ball, it’s ready

  3. Once the sugar syrup is ready, quickly dip the fruit to coat evenly. Plunge them into an ice bath to cool and harden instantly, then set aside and enjoy
