Crispy Oven-Baked Smashed Broccoli

Ingredients

  • Broccoli
  • Oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Parmesan cheese or substitute

Preparation

  1. Cut the broccoli into florets and steam for 6-8 minutes until tender.

  2. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius.

  3. Place the broccoli florets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and smash them flat with the back of a glass.

  4. Drizzle with oil, salt, pepper, and parmesan or a substitute to taste.

  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

Serving suggestions

  1. Optionally serve with a healthy yogurt dip.
