Gluten-Free Broccoli Crust Pizza

Ingredients

Base

  • 3 medium sized organic broccoli
  • 1 packet grated protein cheese
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan
  • 3 chopped green chillies (optional)
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 3 eggs

Sauce

  • 1 tin organic chopped tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp chopped garlic
  • 3 tbsp chopped red onions
  • handful fresh basil
  • 1/2 tsp Himalayan salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Toppings

  • sliced mushrooms
  • sliced courgette
  • red peppers
  • sweetcorn
  • jalapeño peppers
  • grated protein cheese

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 250°C

  2. Mince the broccoli in a food processor.

  3. Add all the other base ingredients, mix, and form the pizza base using your hands, pressing down and shaping into a round shape on baking paper.

  4. Bake the base in the preheated oven at 250°C while preparing the sauce and toppings.

  5. Sauté the garlic and onions in olive oil.

  6. Add the chopped tomatoes to the sauce.

  7. Add the chopped basil leaves and seasoning to the sauce.

  8. Remove the base from the oven once baked

  9. Spread the sauce over the baked base

  10. Add the toppings such as mushrooms, courgette, peppers, sweetcorn, jalapeños, and cheese

  11. Return the pizza to the oven and bake until the cheese is melted and bubbly
