Almond Butter and Cacao Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour (brown rice or white unbleached)
  • 1 cup almond meal
  • 5 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch sea salt
  • 1/4 cup almond butter
  • 1/3 cup melted coconut oil
  • 100 grams dark chocolate chips
  • 4 tablespoons almond milk

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C

  2. Add all the dry ingredients into a bowl and mix until well combined.

  3. Add all the wet ingredients into a bowl and whisk until a creamy mixture forms.

  4. Slowly stir the wet mixture into the dry mixture until a cookie dough forms.

  5. Add in the chocolate chips.

  6. Roll into small balls and place on a baking tray.

  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
