Easy Asian Noodles with Crumbled Tofu
Ingredients
- Half a block of tofu
- 2 tbsp corn starch
- 1 tbsp veg oil
- 2 tbsp Korean bbq sauce (can get from most Asian stores or combine gochujang with bbq sauce)
Stir fry
- 1 onion
- 3 cloves garlic
- Half a broccoli
- Mushrooms
- 1 tsp MSG
- 1 tbsp Korean bbq sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- Noodles
Garnishes
- Sesame seeds
- Spring onion
Preparation
Start by crumbling your tofu, coating it in corn starch and tossing it together with veg oil, add to the air fryer for 10 mins at 200C.
Char off the broccoli in a pan in some oil, season and add a splash of water to steam cook, cover with a lid for 5-10 minutes.
Once your tofu is cooked add to a pan with the mushrooms and cook for a few minutes, then add the MSG, Korean bbq sauce and stir till sticky and caramelized.
Cook off the onion and garlic in a separate pan, add the broccoli back in, add the soy sauce, cooked noodles and some more Korean bbq sauce and stir to combine.
Serve up, top with the crumbled tofu, some spring onions and sesame seeds and enjoy.
