Foolproofbread

Ingredients

  • 3 1/4 cups of whole wheat flour
  • 3 cups pf plain flour
  • 3 pinches of salt
  • 3tbsp of maple syrup
  • 500ml of luke warm water

Preparation

  1. Mix 3 1/4 cups of whole wheat flour with 3 cups pf plain flour, add 3 pinches of salt and mix, add 3tbsp of maple syrup to 500ml of luke warm water ( we don’t want to kill our yeast) then add 10-12g instnt yeast, mix it and let it sit

  2. Add your wet ingredients to the flour, and start mixing

  3. When you can’t mix anymore, start knewding and incorporating that last flour

  4. Knead about 10min

  5. Let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until it doubles

  6. Then knead again for 5 min, shape into the form you’d like, let it sit for one hour, preheat your oven to 200C

  7. After one hour, make some cute cuts one your bread and bake it for 40-50min
