Onion and Garlic Peel Powder

Ingredients

  • onion peel
  • garlic peel
  • salt
  • pepper
  • paprika powder
  • chili powder

Optional flavors

  • Mediterranean herbs
  • masala mix
  • chives
  • dill

Preparation

  1. Wash the peels together or separately depending on the quantity if you want different powders.

  2. Tap them dry and place on a baking tray.

  3. Bake at 160 degrees for about 5 minutes, keep an eye on them and ensure they become crispy; turn off the oven and leave the door shut until dry.

  4. Blend them until you have a fine powder.

  5. Add salt, pepper, paprika, and chili powder, then taste and adjust for the best result.

Tips

  1. When using the oven to cook something else, use the residual heat with the oven off to dry onion and garlic skins by keeping the door shut.
