Persian Lemon and Rose Water Drink
Ingredients
- 1 cup lemon juice
- 1/3 cup rose water
- 7 cups water
- 1.5 cups sugar
Optional additions
- Basil seeds
- Chia seeds
Preparation
Boil water and add sugar; stir until dissolved.
Allow the mixture to cool completely.
Add lemon juice and rose water; stir well.
Optionally add basil seeds or chia seeds.
Tips
The water proportion accounts for melting ice.
For larger batches, scale ingredients based on serving size.
