Spanish-Style Vegan Hot Chocolate

Ingredients

  • 600 ml vegetable drink
  • 1/2 bar of 85% chocolate
  • 1 tablespoon date paste
  • 80 g corn flour

Optional additions

  • a pinch of salt
  • cinnamon
  • vanilla

Preparation

  1. Heat the drink over medium or low heat and add the chocolate and date paste, and if desired, the pinch of salt, cinnamon, and vanilla.

  2. Stir with a wooden spoon or whisk until the cocoa is well integrated while it melts.

  3. Gradually add the flour and stir gently for a few minutes. You can add more flour to achieve your preferred consistency.

  4. Remove from heat and serve.
