Spanish-Style Vegan Hot Chocolate
Ingredients
- 600 ml vegetable drink
- 1/2 bar of 85% chocolate
- 1 tablespoon date paste
- 80 g corn flour
Optional additions
- a pinch of salt
- cinnamon
- vanilla
Preparation
Heat the drink over medium or low heat and add the chocolate and date paste, and if desired, the pinch of salt, cinnamon, and vanilla.
Stir with a wooden spoon or whisk until the cocoa is well integrated while it melts.
Gradually add the flour and stir gently for a few minutes. You can add more flour to achieve your preferred consistency.
Remove from heat and serve.
