Vegan and Gluten-Free French Toast

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dairy free milk
  • 1 tbsp ground flax
  • 1 tbsp corn starch
  • 1/2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • dash of salt
  • about 6 slices of bread

Preparation

  1. Add the milk, flax, corn starch, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt to a large bowl. Mix well and let it sit for a few minutes.

  2. Slice the bread and dip each slice into the mixture, ensuring it is fully covered. Let it sit for ten seconds on each side.

  3. Grease the pan with coconut oil and cook each piece for 2-3 minutes on each side.

  4. This recipe makes about 6 slices of toast.

Serving suggestions

  1. Once the French toast has been cooked, top it with maple syrup, powdered sugar, and fresh berries and enjoy.
