Crispy French Toast Two Ways

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 2/3 cup milk of choice
  • 1 tsp vanilla or 1 tbsp vanilla protein
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Preparation

  1. In a shallow bowl big enough to fit the bread, whisk the eggs. Then add in the milk, cinnamon, and vanilla. Whisk together.

  2. Dip the bread in and coat both sides. Repeat for each slice.

Cooking Instructions: Air Fryer

  1. Preheat air fryer to 325°F (165°C).

  2. Spray with nonstick spray if your air fryer needs that.

  3. Cook the French toast for 5-6 minutes on each side, until it’s crispy.

Skillet

  1. Heat a skillet over low-medium heat. Add a little butter or ghee.

  2. Once the pan is hot, add the French toast.

  3. Cook for 5-6 minutes on each side.

Toppings

  1. Greek yogurt

  2. Maple syrup

  3. Powdered sugar
