Spelt Bread with Avocado and Fresh Vegetables

Ingredients

  • Spelt bread
  • Avocado
  • Plum tomatoes
  • Cucumber
  • Red onion
  • Cilantro
  • Lime juice
  • Pink Himalayan sea salt
  • Nori flakes

Preparation

  1. Toast the spelt bread until golden brown

  2. Slice or mash the avocado and spread it on the toast

  3. Chop the plum tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, and cilantro into small pieces

  4. Squeeze fresh lime juice over the chopped vegetables

  5. Season with pink Himalayan sea salt and sprinkle nori flakes on top

  6. Assemble the vegetables on the avocado-spread bread and serve immediately

  1. This dish is ideal as a light breakfast following a kambo ceremony
