Vegan Cashew Cheese Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cashews
  • 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder

Preparation

  1. Soak cashews in water for 4 hours then drain

  2. Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth
