Vegan Spaghetti Bolognese with Garlic Bread

Ingredients

  • 2 vegan burgers
  • onions
  • garlic
  • Italian herbs
  • oregano
  • tomato passata
  • water
  • sea salt
  • pepper
  • cornstarch
  • long fermentation loaf
  • vegan butter
  • fresh garlic
  • olive oil
  • parsley

Preparation

  1. Sauté onions and garlic

  2. Fry vegan burgers with the onions and garlic

  3. Add Italian herbs, oregano, tomato passata, water, sea salt, and pepper

  4. Thicken the sauce with a cornstarch slurry

  5. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions

  6. Serve the sauce over the spaghetti

Garlic bread

  1. Spread vegan butter on slices of long fermentation loaf

  2. Sauté fresh garlic in a little olive oil

  3. Mix the sautéed garlic with the butter on the bread, add parsley and sea salt

  4. Bake or broil until golden and crispy

  5. Serve alongside the spaghetti
