Vindaloo Tofu and Delhi Spiced Rice
Ingredients
- Avocado oil
- 1 package extra firm tofu (broken into smaller pieces)
- 2 tsp garam masala
- 2 tsp paprika
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 cup sliced onions
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- Patak's Vindaloo Simmer Sauce
- Patak's Dehli Spiced Rice
Preparation
Add oil to a heated non-stick pan followed by tofu, spices, and cornstarch. Mix everything well until tofu is fully coated. Sauté stirring frequently for 1-2 minutes.
Move tofu to the side and add sliced onions. Sauté everything together until golden for 2-4 minutes.
Add diced tomatoes, followed by Patak's Vindaloo Simmer Sauce. Mix ingredients together well, reduce heat, cover, and let cook for 15-20 minutes.
In the meantime, heat Patak's Dehli Spiced Rice.
Serve the heated rice with the tofu.
