Vindaloo Tofu and Delhi Spiced Rice

Ingredients

  • Avocado oil
  • 1 package extra firm tofu (broken into smaller pieces)
  • 2 tsp garam masala
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup sliced onions
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • Patak's Vindaloo Simmer Sauce
  • Patak's Dehli Spiced Rice

Preparation

  1. Add oil to a heated non-stick pan followed by tofu, spices, and cornstarch. Mix everything well until tofu is fully coated. Sauté stirring frequently for 1-2 minutes.

  2. Move tofu to the side and add sliced onions. Sauté everything together until golden for 2-4 minutes.

  3. Add diced tomatoes, followed by Patak's Vindaloo Simmer Sauce. Mix ingredients together well, reduce heat, cover, and let cook for 15-20 minutes.

  4. In the meantime, heat Patak's Dehli Spiced Rice.

  5. Serve the heated rice with the tofu.
