Caramelized Banana Baked Oats
Ingredients
- 1/2 mashed banana
- 1/3 cup rolled oats
- 1 tsp ground flaxseed
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- 1/3 cup almond milk
Caramelized bananas
- 1/2 banana
- Butter or coconut oil (as needed)
- Cinnamon (to sprinkle)
Preparation
Mix the mashed banana, rolled oats, ground flaxseed, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and almond milk together in a bowl
Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake at 375°F for approximately 20 minutes.
Slice the remaining half of the banana.
Caramelize the banana slices on medium heat with butter or coconut oil, sprinkle with cinnamon, and cook for about 3 minutes on each side.
