Chocolate Nut Butter Protein Bars

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup almonds
  • 1.5 cup of pitted medjool dates
  • 1/2 cup coconut
  • 1 scoop of protein (I use @macr0mike naughty p-nut-ella)
  • 1/2 TBSP maca powder
  • 5 TBSP nut butter (I use PB of course)
  • 1.5 TBSP cacao powder
  • 2 TBSP coconut oil/or water as an alternative
  • 100g of dark chocolate

Preparation

  1. Use a food processor to first blitz the almonds, I like to leave them a bit chunky.

  2. Then add the dates and blitz until they break down to a sticky consistency.

  3. Add the rest of the ingredients into the processor and process until all combined. NOTE: If the consistency is too dry, add more water or oil until it will stick together between your fingers.

  4. Press down the mixture into a lined loaf pan.

  5. Melt the dark chocolate and drizzle on top, leave to set in the fridge.
