Crispy Pan Fried Potatoes
Ingredients
- 6-7 potatoes
- 3 tablespoons margarine
- 2 tablespoons oil
- Favorite herbs, to taste
- Salt, to taste
Preparation
Peel and cut the potatoes to bite-sized pieces.
Cook the potatoes for 5-7 minutes without overcooking.
Test the potatoes with a fork to ensure they are slightly firm but easy to pierce.
Drain the cooked potatoes and let them cool.
In a bowl, add the cooked potatoes and 3 tablespoons of margarine; stir well to coat.
Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a skillet.
Add the potatoes to the skillet.
Cook until the potatoes turn golden and crusty.
Chop the herbs and sprinkle them on the potatoes.
