Homemade Bread with Olives and Dips

Ingredients

Dough 1

  • 100g flour
  • 80ml cool water
  • 5g yeast

Dough 2

  • 600g flour
  • 330ml half warm water
  • 15g salt
  • 10g yeast
  • 2tb green olives

Preparation

  1. Mix the water and yeast of the first dough together

  2. Mix in the flour

  3. Let it rise for one hour with a towel on top

  4. Place to the fridge and let it sit another 8 hours

  5. Chop the olives

  6. Mix yeast and water of the second dough

  7. Mix with the first dough, flour, and salt

  8. Knead well for about 5 minutes

  9. Mix in the olives

  10. Let it rise for 45 minutes

  11. Chop dough in half and form to two loafs

  12. Place on a tray with baking paper

  13. Place a towel on top and let it rise another 50 minutes

  14. Preheat the oven to 240 degrees two sided heat

  15. Cut diagonal slices in the bread and sprinkle water on top

  16. Pour a cup of water on the ground of the oven

  17. Bake for 5 minutes

  18. Switch the oven to 180 degrees

  19. Bake another 40 minutes

  20. Serve with a handful of funky dips or just plain with olive oil, salt, and pepper
