Homemade Bread with Olives and Dips
Ingredients
Dough 1
- 100g flour
- 80ml cool water
- 5g yeast
Dough 2
- 600g flour
- 330ml half warm water
- 15g salt
- 10g yeast
- 2tb green olives
Preparation
Mix the water and yeast of the first dough together
Mix in the flour
Let it rise for one hour with a towel on top
Place to the fridge and let it sit another 8 hours
Chop the olives
Mix yeast and water of the second dough
Mix with the first dough, flour, and salt
Knead well for about 5 minutes
Mix in the olives
Let it rise for 45 minutes
Chop dough in half and form to two loafs
Place on a tray with baking paper
Place a towel on top and let it rise another 50 minutes
Preheat the oven to 240 degrees two sided heat
Cut diagonal slices in the bread and sprinkle water on top
Pour a cup of water on the ground of the oven
Bake for 5 minutes
Switch the oven to 180 degrees
Bake another 40 minutes
Serve with a handful of funky dips or just plain with olive oil, salt, and pepper
