Mak Ronggeng's Easy Yeast Bread

Ingredients

  • 150ml warm water
  • 1 tablespoon yeast
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 250g flour
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 30g melted butter

Preparation

  1. Mix all ingredients of the yeast mixture and let the yeast rise

  2. Combine the yeast mixture with the dough ingredients

  3. Add the melted butter to the mixture

  4. The dough will be slightly liquid; knead until elastic

  5. Add more flour until the dough is no longer sticky to hands or container

  6. Knead by hand for about 20 minutes or use a machine for 15 minutes until elastic and not sticky

  7. Let the dough rise until doubled in size

  8. Shape into desired bread forms and bake until golden brown
