Pumpkin Spiced Oats

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • pinch salt
  • 1 cup (100g) oats
  • • 1 1/2 heaped tbsp 100% natural pumpkin purée from a can
  • a splash of oat milk (or any plant milk)

Preparation

  1. Add the oats, all the spices & salt into a saucepan, stir everything together

  2. Cover the oats with a little boiling water, stir well, until gloopy, then stir in the pumpkin purée, maple syrup & vanilla extract

  3. Heat up the porridge on the hob at a medium heat setting until hot, then turn the heat down to low & simmer for 5 mins adding a few splashes of oat milk until you reach your desired porridge consistency

  4. Top with your favourite toppings!Drizzle with extra maple syrup. Enjoy
