Sausage and Mushroom Mafalde
Ingredients
- 70g mafalde pasta
- 3 Lincolnshire sausages
- Button mushrooms
- 1 teaspoon garlic
- 3 extra light cheese triangles
- A little pasta water
- Half a mushroom stock pot
- Onion salt
- Chilli flakes
- Spinach
- Tender stem broccoli
- 10g Italian hard cheese
- Ground black pepper
Preparation
Cook the mafalde pasta in salted water for 11 minutes
Slice the sausages and fry them with button mushrooms and garlic
Stir cheese triangles, pasta water, mushroom stock pot, onion salt, and chilli flakes through the sausage and mushrooms to make a sauce
Add spinach to the sauce
Stir the cooked pasta through the sauce
Shave Italian hard cheese over the pasta and season with ground black pepper
