Simple Flatbreads with Garlic and Herbs

Ingredients

  • 80g plain flour or whole wheat per person (160g used for 4 flatbreads)
  • water as needed
  • 1 tsp garlic granules
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp coriander
  • 1/2 tsp parsley

Preparation

  1. Mix the dry ingredients together and make a well.

  2. Add water until it forms a dough using a spoon.

  3. Knead with a smidge of extra flour.

  4. Roll out to 3/4 millimeter thickness, flouring as you go.

  5. Cook on a frying pan or griddle pan on both sides until slightly charred.

Serving ideas

  1. Rip up and serve with a plate of hummus to share.

  2. Serve on the side with chickpea curry.

  3. Use as a wrap.

  4. Make easy pizzas with them for endless options.
