Stuffed Medjool Dates Healthy Snack Idea

Ingredients

  • a few medjool dates
  • nut butters (peanut, almond, or hazelnut)
  • dark chocolate
  • roasted hazelnuts (optional)
  • coconut chips (optional)
  • freeze-dried raspberries (optional)
  • cacao nibs (optional)
  • sea salt (optional)

Preparation

  1. Cut open the medjool dates, remove the stone, and fill them with nut butter of your choice. Place in the freezer for about 30 minutes.

  2. Melt a small amount of dark chocolate and prepare desired toppings, such as roasted hazelnuts, coconut chips, freeze-dried raspberries, cacao nibs, or sea salt.

  3. Remove the dates from the freezer, drizzle with the melted chocolate, and decorate with the toppings. Store in the freezer.
