Vegan Cheese Sauce with Carrots and Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 2 potatoes
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 dl cashews
  • 1 dl nutritional yeast
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1.5-2 dl oatmilk
  • 1/2 tsp paprika powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Preparation

  1. Boil the potatoes and the carrot in a pot on high heat until they are soft.

  2. Pour out the water.

  3. Add the carrot and potatoes to a blender together with the rest of the ingredients.

  4. Blend well until you have a smooth cheesy sauce.

  5. Store the sauce in a jar in the fridge for later use.
