Vegan Fluffy American Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 300g flour
  • 1tbsp baking powder
  • 2-3tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 250ml plantbased milk
  • 150ml water or aquafaba
  • Vegan margarine

Preparation

  1. Mix dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, sugar, vanilla sugar) in a bowl.

  2. Combine wet ingredients (plant-based milk and water or aquafaba) in another bowl.

  3. Add wet mixture to dry ingredients and stir until just combined, avoiding overmixing.

  4. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and melt vegan margarine.

  5. Pour batter onto the pan to form pancakes and cook until bubbles appear, then flip and cook until golden brown.
