Vegan Turmeric Pumpkin Porridge Bowl

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup or 60g rolled oats
  • 2 tbsp vegan protein powder (optional)
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseeds or chia seeds
  • 2 tbsp plant-based yogurt
  • 1 cup plant-based milk
  • 2 tbsp pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 mashed banana
  • A pinch of turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp pumpkin spice

Preparation

  1. Add all the ingredients to a small sauce pan and bring to a simmer and put on a lid.

  2. After a few minutes, stir the porridge and let it thicken for another 5 minutes.

  3. When it reaches your preferred consistency, pour the oatmeal into a bowl and serve as desired.
